The Princeton chapter of EWB-USA was named the Premier Student Chapter of the Northeast Region at the 2012 regional conference on November 18, 2012. EWB (Engineers Without Borders) would like to extend a thank-you to all those who have supported and worked with the Princeton chapter, particularly the devoted students and generous sponsors. None of  this work would have been possible without them!
Ghana School Library Named EWB-USA Premier Project
The Ghana School Library Project was created after a successful implementation trip in the summer of 2011. Under the leadership of current seniors Jeremy Blair and Akhil Reddy, a library was constructed using sustainable landcrete blocks and was stocked with more than 7,000 books and 37 One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) computers. A variety of training programs were also conducted to educate community members about how to best use and maintain the resources provided. Read more about the Ghana project here

Congratulations to the Ghana project team for being selected as one of three EWB-USA 2013 Premier Project winners for their library project in Ashaiman, Ghana!

EWB-Princeton thanks its sponsors for supporting this work!
