この作品は、日本のおとぎ話「かぐやひめ」をもとに作られた作品です。作業に使用されるLEDデジタルカウンターは「Shining Life」を象徴し、そのスピードは地域の高齢者のワークショップ参加者によって決定され、サポーターはタイマーを設定しました。この作業は、世代間のギャップを埋める協力の結果であった。竹の庭に輝くLEDカウンターは、「永遠の生命」と輝く星の間に見られる調和を示唆しています。 120個のエメラルドグリーンLEDデジタルカウンターが竹の庭に設置されました。各デバイスは、個々の速度で9から1までカウントし続けます。カウンタの竹ブッシュと淡いLEDライトは、時間と空間の変化を表します。

This work was created based on the Japanese fairy tale ‘KAGUYAHIME’. LED digital counters used for the work symbolize ‘Shining Life’, and their speed was determined by local elderly participants of the workshops, and supporters set timers. The work was the result of cooperation, bridging the gap between generations. The LED counters shining in the bamboo garden suggest ‘Eternal Life’ and harmony found among twinkling stars. 120 emerald-green LED digital counters were installed in the bamboo garden. Each device keeps counting from 9 to 1 at an individual speed. The bamboo bush and faint LED light of the counters represent changes in time and space.
