龙是一种传说[6] 中的动物,看起来有点儿像长了四条腿的蟒蛇[7] ,眼睛突出,[8] 张[9] 着嘴巴[10] ,嘴巴上长[11] 着胡子[12] ,有时还喷[13] 着火[14] ,张牙舞爪[15] ,样子[16] 可怕[17] 极了。可是,中国人很喜欢龙,常说他们是“龙的传人[18] ”。龙在古代[19] 中国也是皇帝[20] 的象征[21] ,一般老百姓是不许随便把龙绣[22] 在衣服上的。
