From the moment we landed in Havana, our class had to adjust to a completely different way of life. This section contains a series of thoughts and general observations about our expectations and unexpected realities from our time there. Additionally, there are sections specific to Food, Transportation, and People, which were all new parts of Cuban society that we encountered on a daily basis.
