Project Description

Our guitar is shaped like a guitar. It was made using wood found in the workshop. At first we designed it on Fusion 360. We gave it a neck the same shape as a Gibson Lespaul. It has humbucker pickup that was bought since we ran out of time. It has one volume control and one tone control. We also had to buy a bridge, a tail piece and tuning pegs that are all painted in black. The guitar’s neck has 23 frets like the most common guitar. It isn’t painted since we thought the color of the natural wood was beautiful and made it so we could tell it was homemade. We added our own logo on the top of the headstock and designed a back plate that covers the hole made in order to connect the pickup and controls. We also added strap pegs at the bottom and side of the body of the guitar in order to attach a strap and play while standing.
