To add a post to the site:
- In the black bar across the top of the screen, place your cursor over +New and then select Post.
- In the resulting editing screen, enter a title and text for your post. In order for your post to appear on the homepage with an image, you should add a Featured Image to your post. If you have created a video, you will be able to embed it the page, but you should also have an image that will display on the front page. To add the image, find the section labeled Featured Image in the right-hand sidebar and click Set Featured Image.
- Select the Upload Files tab at the top of the resulting window, click Select Files to find the image on your computer. and then upload your image. Click Set Featured Image.
- Save your post by clicking the blue Publish button in the right-hand sidebar.
You can always go back and edit your post:
- In the black bar across the top of the screen, place your cursor over the title of the website (Girls and Dolls) and then select Dashboard.
- Click Posts in the left-hand sidebar
- Find you post, mouse-over the title and then click the Edit link.
