El cuento anónimo “Las dos hermanas y la naranja” nos narra la historia de un padre que no escucha a sus dos hijas y toma decisiones por ellas en lugar de prestar atención a sus deseos. Así, nos revela una dinámica de género que ha sido -y aún es- muy prevalente en las narrativas heteronormativas tradicionales: la invisibilidad y la falta de voz de la mujer.

The anonymous folk tale “The two sisters and the orange” tells us the story of a father who does not listen to his two daughters and makes decisions for them instead of paying attention to their wishes. Thus, it reveals a gender-based dynamic that has been – and still is –  prevalent in traditional heteronormative narratives: women’s invisibility and the absence of their voices.
