She studied Regla and the Iglesia de Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de Regla while in Havana, and investigated afrocuban religion and the role of women within the religion. The highlight of her trip was seeing <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Santa y Andr\u00e9s<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, a movie that was censured in 2017, alongside the director and the actors, and being able to converse with them about their experiences with censorship.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_104\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-104\" class=\" wp-image-100\" src=\"https:\/\/commons.princeton.edu\/spa342\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/151\/2020\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-12-11-at-12.32.21-AM-Cecilia-Rojas-e1578989877438-300x300.png\" alt=\"Cecilis Rojas\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-104\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Cecilis Rojas &#8217;21<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cecilia Rojas \u201820 is an Economics major with certificates in Latin American Studies and Finance. In Havana, she studied the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). Her favorite moment in Havana was watching the movie Santa y Andr\u00e9s, with the director Carlos Lechuga and the lead actors, Lola Amores and Eduardo Martinez. She thought the movie was very well-made and the actors were incredible, so it was a surreal experience to watch it with them. Since the movie was about censorship and they were telling us about their experience with censorship, she felt like the movie had come to real life.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_102\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-102\" class=\" wp-image-100\" src=\"https:\/\/commons.princeton.edu\/spa342\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/151\/2020\/01\/KASA-photo-Hayoung-Park-e1578990013196-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"Hayoung Park\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-102\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Hayoung Park &#8217;20<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hayoung Park \u201820 is an Economics major with a certificate in Spanish Language and Culture. In Havana, she studied how Korean culture and identity and how it has formed and developed over the years. Her favorite moment of the trip was interviewing Mr. Nelson Lim, the grandson of Mr. Jeronimo Lim who formed the Korean Cuban identity in the country. She studied CENESEX, the Cuban National Center for Sex Education, and gender expression in Cuban art. Her favorite moment from the trip was seeing <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at Teatro Trian\u00f3n and interviewing Carlos Diaz, the director, afterwards. In Havana, she studied censorship in film during the 60&#8217;s and 70&#8217;s with Jorge Fornet and CENESEX, the Cuban National Center for Sex Education.
