The caption reads, &#8220;No man is without his temper, no season without its storms, and no school without its troubles. Lincoln had its Douglasses and John Browns, too. These &#8216;troubles&#8217; and confrontations often preceded or initiated some new building or program. &#8217;67 played a part in precipitating many of the new things at Lincoln.&#8221; Can you identify the specifics this refers to?
