Mayor Carmen Armenti formed this Youth Council in June 1967 from a recognition that younger voices needed to be heard in City Hall. We have lists of the students chosen to participate (as can be seen in the lower end of the photograph on the left – you can use the “+” button on the upper left-hand side of the photo to zoom in on the text.)
We would love to know more about people who attended and the discussion as they remember it.
