Harrison Blackman<\/strong><\/p>\n Harrison Blackman is a rising senior at Princeton University, where he studies the history of science, urban studies and creative writing, with a particular focus on how these topics intersect with\u00a0modern Greece. A Princeton International and Regional Studies Fellow, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Tortoise: a Journal of Writing Pedagogy<\/em>,\u00a0has served as\u00a0Head Fellow in the Princeton Writing Program and as the Arts & Features Editor of The Daily Princetonian<\/em>. Additionally, his writing has appeared\u00a0in The Nassau Literary Review<\/em>, US-1<\/em>,\u00a0Affairs Today\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Culture Trip.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Amanda Blanco<\/strong><\/p>\n Amanda Blanco is a rising junior at Princeton University, where she is studying sociology and journalism. She is currently a Senior Reporter at college media platform The Tab, and is interested in expanding her work in photojournalism and metadata. Her work on Princeton\u2019s Woodrow Wilson protests has been used by Daily Mail and Vice News. She plans to pursue journalism as a career after graduation.<\/p>\n James Haynes<\/strong><\/p>\n James Haynes is a rising junior at Princeton from Cullman, Alabama. James is a Classics major, studying ancient history and Mandarin Chinese.\u00a0His interests include the history of late antiquity, particularly early Christianity in the Roman Empire, as well as early Church fathers and medieval writers, such as Dante and the author of Beowulf. James plans to pursue a career in journalism after earning his bachelor\u2019s degree from Princeton, and to that end is the current publisher and student head of\u00a0The Princeton Tory<\/i>, an ISI Collegiate Network publication, and is a former editorial board member of the\u00a0Daily Princetonian.<\/i>\u00a0After this course, he plans to return to a reporting internship at the\u00a0Houston Chronicle<\/i>. With this experience, James hopes to either work abroad as an Asia-based foreign correspondent or as an investigative reporter stateside after graduation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ally Markovich<\/strong><\/p>\n Ally Markovich is a rising senior, studying politics with a focus on Ukraine and Russia.\u00a0\u00a0Freelancing with Princeton’s University Press Club, her work has been published in The New York Times<\/em> and The Washington Post<\/em>, as well as\u00a0New Jersey publications like Princeton Alumni Weekly<\/em> and the Times of Trenton<\/em>. She has interned as a staff writer at the Kyiv Post, Ukraine’s primary English language newspaper. After graduation, she plans to pursue political or narrative journalism.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hayley Roth<\/strong><\/p>\n Hayley Roth is a rising senior in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, where she studies international relations with a focus on the European Union. She is also involved in the journalism and Italian departments. A member of the EU Program and a EUROGLOB undergraduate research fellow, Hayley is a reporter for the on-campus radio station WPRB 103.3 FM, a member of the Princeton Pianists Ensemble and Princeton Chapel Choir, and a leader for the Outdoor Action program. She hopes to pursue graduate degrees in law and journalism.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Iris Samuels<\/strong><\/p>\n Iris Samuels is a rising sophomore at Princeton University, where she is focusing on international relations and creative writing. She grew up in Israel, where she completed her mandatory service in the Israel Defense Forces prior to beginning college. She is a senior columnist for The<\/em>\u00a0Daily Princetonian.<\/em><\/p>\n Joe Stephens<\/strong><\/p>\n Joe Stephens, \u00a0Ferris Professor of Journalism at\u00a0Princeton University, is a veteran investigative reporter for The Washington Post who has reported and conducted journalism training in the U.S., Asia, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. He has won more than 30 journalism honors, including an Overseas Press Club award and three George Polk Memorial Awards.
