Project Description
“My project consists of producing wearable designs in the form of necklaces and earrings from leather and wood by using laser cutting-engraving technology. In this project, I am using a mixture of combining designs present on the web as well as my original designs produced on Adobe Illustrator to explore the media of wood and leather and the laser cutting/engraving machine to its fullest capacity. The themes of my accessories range from geometrical and spatial designs to scenes from Princeton University to celebrities to unknown historical treasures of my home region in Turkey.”
