Caution! It can damage anything with a threading, so tape those over.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fasteners: measured the coordinates of engine covers to be able to make gasket<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Clutch: used three jaw chuck with socket wrench (with extension)<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bottom end: worked with Clutch crew, when they got to bottom end saw quadrant plate, learned how it switches the gears, took apart engine!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fork: used special spanner wrench to fit perfectly around prong of fork, stuck needles into hole so it would come undone<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Top end: cleaned parts<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quartermaster: identified missing pieces to order<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Readings\/Discussion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>ZAMM<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><u>Chapter 5:<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Motorcycle References:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Changing oil, lubricating roller chain (so that it moves more smoothly)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>\u201cShim those out\u201d\u2014shim is a piece of material, in this case it would keep the handlebars from moving too much, piece of metal you wrap around to make diameter longer so that when you clamp it\u2019ll hold more firmly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Aluminum\u2014doesn\u2019t oxidize in wet weather, always has a thin layer of oxide that prevents further oxidation<\/li>\n<li>Valve clatter: noise of the valve opening and closing, if valves are sloppy\/have a lot of play, it gets very noisy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Storyline:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Narrator has a dream about Phaedrus calling Chris, and it\u2019s after Chris\u2019 fit so he\u2019s afraid that Chris is turning into Phaedrus because of his mental illness, and the narrator was Phaedrus before his shock therapy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Kindness\u2014doesn\u2019t want Chris to keep seeing a counselor, acknowledges idea that everyone now is supposed to be kind (which is just a fake attitude) but what can people know about kindness if they\u2019re not kin?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><u>Chapter 6:<\/u><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Motorcycle References:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>\u201cThread\u2019s stripped in the chain adjustment\u201d\u2014tried to adjust it, forgot to loosen up nuts beforehand, that stripped the chain adjustment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Set of groupings:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li>Introduces idea of knife\u2014different ways of breaking down an object into pieces.
