Check out a great talk, "Princeton Entrepreneurs in China", by Guanchun Wang (GS *11) and Yi Wang (GS *09) happening this Saturday, Oct 19th, 2013 in the Friend Center, Room 004 lower level. 

Guanchun Wang (above left) recieved his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University  in 2011. He was the co-founder and CEO of, a movie discovery engine based on tastes and friends. His start-up was acquired by Baidu last fall. Previously, he worked at McKinsey, Goldman Sachs and Lightspeed China Ventures.

Yi Wang *09 (above right) is the co-founder and CEO of LingoChamp (, a mobile internet education start-up based in Shanghai, China. It is dedicated to building technologies and products that help people learn a new language in a fun, personalized and effective way on their mobile devices. Yi joined Google (in Mountain View, California) as a product manager after receiving his PhD in computer science from Princeton. Yi left Google and returned to China in April 2011. He worked at AdChina (China's leading online display advertising company) as a product director, building its performance ads platform and real-time bidding (RTB) system from scratch. He started LingoChamp with two friends in September 2012.
